Continental European sterling silver ornate Cherub napkin rings, pair, in a Classic Revival style, having a very French look with crossed quiver and torch ribbon decorations surrounded by in pomegranate floral work on one side, with winged cherubs flanking ornate cartouches containing the numbers 5 and 6.
All the decoration is Repousse work on double walled construction and has excellent detail.
They are unmarked, but have been carefully tested for silver content and are guaranteed to be as represented.
Weighing a total of 45 grams or 1.4 ozs. Troy, each of these ornate napkin rings is 1 7/8" in diameter and 1 1/4" tall.
Inscribed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
